The 13th Annual PACIFIC CREST Weekend Sports Festival will be held June 26-28, 2009 in Sunriver, Oregon. Registration for the 2009 event will be open soon.

2010 DATES: June 25-27, 2010 - Sunriver, Oregon

Each year, during the last weekend in June, athletes, joined by their family and friends, converge on Central Oregon to take part in the Pacific Crest Sports Festival. 2009 marks the 13th year for this event that is expected to draw 4,000+ athletes. The Pacific Crest, which is known as the jewel of multi-sport events in the Northwest has become a destination race for athletes from across the nation as well as Internationally.

The Pacific Crest Sports Festival includes the Long Course Triathlon, Endurance Duathlon, Marathon & Half Marathon, Olympic Distance Triathlon & Duathlon, 5K & 10K Run/Walks, and a Kid's Splash Pedal-n-Dash Triathlon & 1-mile and 1/2-mile Dash. The Long Course Triathlon is the TRI NorthWest Long Course Tri Championship. The Marathon is a Boston Qualifier.

AA sports has partnered with Online Training Log, Strands.com, to provide LIVE race results throughout the Pacific Crest Sports Festival. Results can be posted to the web in real-time, where your family and fans can view your progress during the race. [Read more]

Additionally, Strands will be providing digital race results for many events at the Festival. Stop by their booth and scan your chip or enter your bib number to receive your splits, finish time, and pace.

If you'd like to opt-in for Strands LIVE timing simply create an account on Strands.com, and e-mail Team Strands your First, Last, and username on Strands by 6/25.

Note: LIVE timing is only available for events with disposable chips.

TRB is a group of people (more than 300 strong) who have united to help raise awareness and funds to aid in the fight against cancer. TRB members will have the opportunity to participate in any of 12 events offered at Pacific Crest to raise money for the LAF. Also, TRB will also be partnering with the NF Endurance Team (3,400 members globally) in support of the Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF). The CTF supports research and the development of treatments for neurofibromatosis - a genetic disorder affecting 1:3000 that can cause a myriad of medical issues including nerve tumors, malignancy, bone abnormalities, learning disabilities, deafness and blindness. www.ctf.org

The Pacific Crest Weekend begins on Friday morning, and the Celebration continues through Sunday. The weekend will include a Health & Fitness Expo, great food, beer garden, live entertainment, fun, camaraderie, and to top it off, some of the best competitive racing you will find in the country.
